August 2012 Mrs. Jacqueline E. Guillette, is our new Superintendent of Schools. She graduated from Middlebury College (1973) with a BA in American History and Teacher Certification K-8. She taught grades 1,2,3,6,7,and 8 over 11 years at various schools in Vermont. After earning her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from UVM (1986), she became Principal-certified for K-12. She served as Assistant Principal at Barre Town Elementary School in Barre, VT for five years. She then served as Principal of Lebanon Junior High School in Lebanon, NH for ten years (1990-2000). During that time Mrs. Guillette earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S.) from UNH in Educational Administration (1996). This enabled her to gain her credentials as a superintendent in NH. After serving as Assistant Superintendent for the Lebanon School District for two years (2000-2002), Mrs. Guillette became Superintendent of Schools for SAU #6 (Claremont, Cornish, and Unity, NH) in 2002. She worked there for nine years and retired in August of 2011. Upon her retirement from fulltime superintendent work, Mrs. Guillette started a consulting business called Capstone Consulting LLC through which she has, and continues, to work in partnership with Whelen Engineering Company, INC. in Charlestown, NH. As of July 1, 2012, Mrs. Guillette became the part time superintendent for SAU #75 – Grantham School District. Mrs. Guillette has been married to Mr. Peter Guillette for almost 23 years. Together they have four grown children and nine grandchildren – one of whom attends Grantham Village School.
